A short film inspired by George Orwell’s concept of ‘Big Brother’ using the henchman like security in Kings Cross as the subject.
The films objective is to reverse the authority and control held by the patrolling Henchman (around the Kings Cross area and Central Saint Martins campus) and direct it back upon themselves to test mechanisms of power.
"He who is subjected to a field of visibility, and who knows it, assumes responsibility for the constraints of power; he makes them play spontaneously upon himself; he inscribes in himself the power relation in which he simultaneously plays both roles; he becomes the principle of his own subjection" (202-203).
